Remedies for Cracked Heels



Cracked heels are sign of lack of attention to foot care. If you pamper your skin, hair, face but not hands and feet then your beauty is incomplete. A little care of your feet will make them healthy and beautiful as your face looks. Here are some best known remedies to treat cracked heels.
Massage vegetable oil after washing the feet clean, on dry and cracked areas; wear a pair of thick socks. Leave it overnight and see positive results in few days.
Soak the feet in lemon juice for about 10 minutes. Use this tip on a weekly basis until you feel the difference.

  • Making a daily routine of cleaning and moisturizing your heels is a good cure. Soak your feet in lukewarm water with a little soap in it. It will loosen the tight dead skin from your soles and heels. Rinse feet and pat dry.
  • Make a healing paste of one teaspoon Vaseline and lemon juice. Rub this paste onto the cracked heels till it is soaked up.
  • Use mixture of glycerin and rosewater to soothe and cure cracked heels.
  • If your feet are paining soak them in hot water with salt added to it and alter the feet in cold water. Doing this therapy for half and hour improves the blood circulation and relieves the pain.
  • Always wash your feet properly whenever you come from outside. Sleep after washing your feet.
  • Regularly scrub away the dead skin of your feet and apply foot cream.
  • To avoid foot pain wear shoes, which are right in size for your feet. Tight or loose shoes create problems for the feet.
  • Never wear shoes in wet legs and never wear wet socks.
  • Walk on the grass barefoot early morning. It rejuvenates the feet and improves the eyesight.
