Tips To Avoid Summer Hair Loss



In summer, hair loss gets worse due to porous nature of the scalp; becoming oily and uprooting itself from the roots due to dust and heat. You can treat this summer hair problem by trying some special home remedies.Hair texture varies from each individual and an array of factors contribute to hair loss including cosmetics, shampoo, conditioners, sweat and stress.Here are some tips to avoid summer hair loss.

1.Use shower caps:During summers, we love to jump into the pool and beat the heat. However, too much of chlorine in the pools can cause hair loss. Using shower caps during showers and also while swimming is a good idea to prevent hair loss.
2.The right diet:Exclude fast food, fried meat and carbonated drinks. Stop smoking and taking hot beverages. Drink at least 1.5 liters of water every day, and eat more buckwheat, bananas, almonds, nuts, sunflower seeds, legumes and dairy products to make your hair shine with health and thickness.
3.Hydrate Yourself:Drink lots of water and healthy fluids like coconut water and fruit juices. Include water rich foods like cucumber to stay hydrated. This will hydrate your body and keeps it cool, which in turn supplies the right amount of nutrients and strength to your hair to prevent hair loss.
4.Summer Hats:Hot sun beams make your hair weak and dry. Hair roots suffer from lack of moisture and start falling down. Hundreds of hair come in your brush every day during summer. If you notice this, buy a hat immediately. The same thing can be said about winter. Don’t walk without wearing a hat.
5.Hot-oil massage:This is one of the most popular home remedies to get rid of hair loss. In summers, a warm and comforting hot-oil (not too hot, just lukewarm) massage once or twice a week will not only strengthen the roots, but also acts as a natural conditioner to keep the scalp hydrated. This prevents hair loss and allows new hair growth. Follow it up by washing your hair with a mild shampoo.
6.Styling and drying:Don’t spoil your hair by styling and drying with the help of a hair dryer. Wash your hair, wipe with a towel and leave for 10 minutes to let the hair follicles breathe.
7.Cucumber and yogurt pack:Blend half a cucumber, 3 tablespoons of yogurt and 1 teaspoon of lime juice. Apply it on your scalp and wash it after 15-20 minutes. This not only cleanses your scalp but also keeps dandruff away and reduces hair loss
